Hi! I’m Ashley.

I’m so happy that I get to collaborate on the lives of our young leaders. I do hope that my work propels them into who they are called to be.
Our Philosophy

Ashley’s Angels home daycare believes that children learn best through meaningful play. Our play based program helps develop a child’s cognitive, physical, language, social and emotional, gross and fine motors skills. We have a daily structured routine. We also recognize that parents are a child’s first teacher. With that in mind we create opportunities to go from the daycare to the home. We know that each child is unique, we will provide your child with a safe and healthy environment for them to learn and grow.

Our Story

Ashely’s Angels officially opened its doors in 2014, however it was a seed implanted in Ashely’s heart well before that. Seeing so many parents in her community struggle to find safe, reliable and accessible childcare inspired her to make a difference by caring for young children. The news stories that painted child care facilities as dangerous and unsafe drove her to action. Ashley believes that no parent should have to choose work over the safety and well being of their child.

We are always seeking new angels to look after. Just send a message to jump start enrollment today!

We do awesome stuff

With such young children there a bound to be behavioral challenges that arrive from time to time. Our staff is keen on all children conducting themselves in a matter that is respectful, safe and considerate of others.

If the child is 24 months old or younger we focus on redirection and plain language correct. For example, if a 24 month old or younger is hitting, we would firmly say No hitting and show them a better activity to engage with.

We use a similar method for older children as a warning. If the behavior continues we will place them in timeout to calm down and think about what they are doing. Time outs don’t exceed one minute per year of age the child is.

We also keep the families abreast of any behavioral challenges that arise and the corrective actions that took place.

If you child is not picked up by the agreed time we will try to contact the parent five times before we contact an emergency pick up person listed on the emergency contact form.
