Contact UsWe believe that letting children be children is critical to their long term well being. The Harvard Center conducted a study on the Developing Child that revealed that our early experiences impact our life outcomes. When given a healthy start at life not only do we live longer, we experience better health and the ability to self manage our emotions, particularly stress. That is why we employ the learning through play methodology of child care.

And so much more!
With such young children there a bound to be behavioral challenges that arrive from time to time. Our staff is keen on all children conducting themselves in a matter that is respectful, safe and considerate of others.
If the child is 24 months old or younger we focus on redirection and plain language correct. For example, if a 24 month old or younger is hitting, we would firmly say No hitting and show them a better activity to engage with.
We use a similar method for older children as a warning. If the behavior continues we will place them in timeout to calm down and think about what they are doing. Time outs don’t exceed one minute per year of age the child is.
We also keep the families abreast of any behavioral challenges that arise and the corrective actions that took place.
